In Living The Inner Life Jesus Teaches Us, The Anointing of the Lord Is Suddenly Upon Us, and Propagates In the World

The Bible reveals that we are gifted by God from the beginning and have a specific purpose: “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be” (Psalms 139:16). Before we exhaled a breath, God had a plan for our life. Everyone ever born is meant for and capable of being in heaven. It is our destiny gifted from the Lord. But it is not given on a silver platter, we must choose it and fight for it in body mind and soul. The world would have us identify with all of our set backs, our emotional fits, sexual frustrations, and dysfunctional behavior, but these are just part of the journey and growth that come with earth life. We don’t have to identify as less than, or more than others. We come into our true identity when we submit to God. Jesus is always with us and mentoring us, but He leaves us in freedom for we must bond with Him from our own will. God has given us all the ingredients required to live your destiny. The more we allow ourself to be led by the Lord, the more we become our true self.

When Mary of Bethany seized the moment, on fire with love and awareness, she rushed into the room of religious leaders, cried at Jesus feet, and then, she anointed Him with the precious oil. In that moment fragrance filled the room. Along with, the unmistakable presence of her passion, and humility filled the hearts of all around, some astonished and others offended. But she claimed her true Identity, and nothing could stop her. Jesus said, ‘though your sins are many, because of the greatness of your love, your sins are forgiven.’ She knew her true self. And Jesus commended her action as an example to all generations to come; ‘Let what she has done today be a memorial for all generations’.

                                                                               . . .

Like the sweet fragrance of a flower hidden in the grass, humilities unknown presence spreads far and wide. This is the spirit that bonds us with Jesus. There comes a blossoming in ones soul between humility and intelligence, between compassion and wisdom – in this union the gifts or our soul are fructified – it rests upon you like a peaceful perfume. Receive it, protect it, share it.

“So Christ Himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up…” (Ephesians 4:11-12,

This is the place we are grounded, we are the soft soil, and we are filled from within. Others will often try to exalt us to a place that is not ours in an effort to topple our identity; or they will cut everything we do down to undermine our strength. In both ways they seek to control and put out the light.

But when we know inside all good comes from God – this keeps us humble, on solid ground, and strong. We now that the circuitry in our soul only works as it is meant when we acknowledge that all good comes from God. Knowing this has a built-in sense of self and humility, our perception is elevated, we treasure the peace and strength it gives. The dysfunctional games of others are seen, and don’t work. By the same token, we see the good in others and desire to nurture it and see it grow.

“For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.”  2 Corinthians 2:15. This awareness in our core helps the traumatized and lost parts of our self to heal, like a good parent mentoring and watching over troubled children. In time we thus become a servant in His house, we help change lives, lead others to God, build businesses, and community. We have to take a stand when we see dysfunction and lies in life; otherwise some would never see God’s standards and potential. This is part of the work.

When we live our destiny, we become like a fine perfume to the Earth – the fragrance of anointing. “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.” (1 John 2:20
