THE MANIFESTATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE NEW TESTAMENT AND A MEDITATION ON THE HOLY SPIRIT IN OUR LIVES NOW

March 14th, 2022

“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire”. – Matthew 3:11

“And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God”. – Luke 1:35

The Holy spirit is the presence of Jesus; it is one with Jesus not separate. It has always been so, but the holy spirit’s  influence and presence became exponentially brighter when God was born on earth, and then especially in the resurrection. This is extremely valuable for our heart of faith to contemplate.
Before being born on earth God is known as Jehovah. The holy spirit in its essence is the divine truth, especially the power of divine truth. There is no greater power in the universe than the power of divine truth from the Lord. It possesses all innocence and goodness and arising from this is complete, comprehensive and immutable power of truth that all things and all powers have no ability but to bow to. It occupies the core from goodness and so nothing is above it, or can overcome it. What ever come from the Lord’s will is divine truth and will come true in time. This is why all prophecy from the Old Testament came true no matter how long it took. Prophecy is divine because the will of God, and therefore it all came true in the New Testament. This scripture speaks to this power:

“A branch will come out of the trunk of Jesse. The spirit of Jehovah will rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and intelligence, the spirit of counsel and strength. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the spirit of his lips he will kill the ungodly. Justice will be his loincloth, and the truth will wrap his thighs. (Isaiah 11:1, 2, 4, 5)

For the good people seeking to be regenerated the Holy spirit is the comforter. It brings justice, reconciliation, knowledge and love to the poor in spirit. To the evil it also brings justice, but devastation, exposure and to be put in their place – for they hate God and His people; they think they should be in power and not God. In the scripture we see relatively small but telling examples of this power. When the people want to stone the adulterous woman, Jesus says, “Let he who is without sin throw the first stone.” This stuns their conscience with the truth, and they are unable to act. When Jesus announces himself as the Messiah with the words, “Today these scriptures are fulfilled”, the people want to stone him and throw him off a cliff, but Jesus passes through them unharmed. When Jesus is arrested the soldiers want take hold of him, but Jesus flexes His power and they all fall to the ground around him.
These are a few examples, but there are many.

In the gospels we see how He has complete power over demons who possess others. In the big picture Jesus was been born to defeat all the powers of evil that had overrun the earth, much of the world spirits, and even the lower parts of heaven. The scripture tells that ‘violence is done even to heaven’. We can take comfort and assurance in the fact that Jesus has all power. When we love and believe in Him he takes us under His wing ‘like a mother hen’. We come under his power and protection when we acknowledge and love him in heart. This causes His presence (holy spirit) to be with us. This is the efficacy of prayer.

It is also very important to understand that even though Jesus has omnipotent power He leaves us in freedom, for Man can only be transformed in freedom. Jesus obeyed His own laws of divine order. In His life on earth He worked within the laws of freedom to transform man. In the garden when He is arrested Peter takes his sward and fights the soldiers and Jesus tells him to stop, saying, “don’t you know I could bring down legions of angels to defeat my enemies?”. But He does not. He could do this anytime He wanted but He knows the transformation in Man’s soul must take place reciprocally, that is, in freedom, from Man’s own will to meet Him.
Now is it very important to see how the Holy spirit (the presence of Jesus) came into its full manifestation when Jesus was born on earth and resurrected. Jesus is ‘the bridge’ because He entered the natural world, and by doing this made Himself known to Man and renewed everything.
“[The Comforter] will glorify me because he will take from what is mine and will make it known to you. Everything the Father has is mine. This is why I said that [the Comforter] will take from what is mine and will make it known to you”. (John 16:14, 15) In mentioning the Comforter and the Holy Spirit, the Lord was referring to himself. This is clear from these words of his: “The world would not recognize him but you know him; I will not leave you orphans, I am coming to you; you will see me.” And elsewhere, “Behold I am with you every day, even to the close of the age” (Matthew 28:20

When the Lord told the disciples that it is expedient that I accomplish my mission and die on the cross for then I will send you the Holy spirit, He is describing this situation: Before He was born God was in the celestial and spiritual, but had never existed in the natural/physical level. By being born on earth He entered the physical and He made even the natural bend to His will by making His physical body divine. In doing this He brought the celestial, spiritual and physical into complete presence and wholeness. What is in its wholeness from the lowest natural to the highest is in its power. This caused exponentially greater light to the life of Man. By dying and resurrecting He entered the innermost of all things, and ‘drew all things unto himself’. This ‘exponentially greater light’ is the presence of the Holy Spirit, and the comforter. This is what is meant when Isaiah says, “The light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun;” and when John writes in Revelation, “The contenance of the son of man was as the sun shinning in his strength.”
Before the resurrection, there was an intermediate step to be connected to God and heaven by way of the representative church of the Jews in the Old Testament. After the resurrection, all people in all places at all times are in direct relationship with the Lord – if they so choose. This is expressed in the words of David, “In his days shall the righteous flourish, and the abundance of peace until there is no longer any moon.”

In our spiritual life now, in this day, the Holy Spirit is the presence of Jesus, the fire that proceeds from God, and that kindles in our breasts a spiritual passion to know the Lord and for God’s will to prevail in this painful world. The Holy spirit ever urges us to seek union between our body and soul, to seek the marriage of our understanding and love, that together, creates a burning thirst in us that only He can satisfy. God is in His people. The Holy Spirit compels us to find the way to express, and manifest what God has given us to do.

The Holy Spirit proposes a puzzle that we must work out in our hearts, and by our actions in the world; and to the degree we do we BOND with God – the only true glory afforded to humans (received as if by brushing the hem of His robe). The Holy Spirit simultaneously inspires in us the willingness to humbly submit to God’s will – and the strength to see through deception and fight evil. The Holy spirit first kindles an anxiety of unknown cause and purpose, but if we persevere through the fog of anxiety, and there are time when it clears, and the desire to be right with God leads us to understand and to inspire others. This cannot help but lead us to confront and expose the deceptions of those of ill-intent – and to do it with love – which sometime may requite and engender composure and fierce determination. The Holy Spirit moves us to honor the good deeds and sacrifices of others, and especially to honor the one who redeemed all humanity by His deeds and sacrifice. Honor is for men and woman, Worship is honor to God, something only He is worthy of.

Meditation on Shame and Restoration

September 12th, 2020

Shame is not the currency of God. It is man, taking something of God, and making it toxic and destructive. God seeks to prick and awaken the conscience of people and this involves a certain amount of pain known as shame and embarrassment, sometimes a lot of pain. But God always gives a way through and out. God looks to humble us, and in humility there is great relief; it is a profound spiritual experience of deepening and softening our soul.

But Man in his selfish nature, and limited awareness, takes this process and condemns and holds control over others. All people have inclinations to evil, and all too often in the hands of people, shame becomes destructive and debilitating. Man doesn’t ‘humble’ but humiliates, and this becomes toxic in a persons system.

When we are children we usually do not have the awareness, experience or strength to protect ourself from difficult people; especially when it comes from our own parents. A person who is in pain and can’t face it and deal with it, cannot help but put it out on others and make them feel responsible. What one will not deal with in themself they consciously or unconsciously put on to others. Parents do this to their own children. A child is already in an intense struggle to get to know themself and who they are. They look to parents or someone to be a mentor that they can trust and that will help them to find strength.

Kids need to be corrected and taught, but in doing so it is good to correct the behavior but not condemn the person. Kids need to be mentored, they need to be able to trust. They need the parent or mentor to care enough to understand their nature as best they can, and to see and encourage the good in them. God can always be trusted, and knows us all through, and helps us to treat others well.

When it comes to shame we all have a little kid in us. When triggered we regress back to feeling of the mistreated kid.

The heart and mind of a child goes from one extreme to another; feeling intense love for the good parent one moment, and then murderous hatred for the bad parent the next. If the parent is unaware, in denial and can’t handle their own pain, they cannot help but put it in the child, and the child takes it in and tries to heal it so that they can feel Ok and ‘everything will be OK’. But it’s not OK; In the un-resourced child, shame, like a foreign species, tells them they are stupid, bad or weird because they made mistakes or failed in some way.

The Bible promises: “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1) In the flesh are all the motivations and justifications that come from hereditary evil; in the spirit there is trust and spiritual sight and intelligence from God. To the degree we have love for the Lord and centering in self awareness we don’t need to shame others, we have no desire to go there. Jesus told us not to judge others, to look at the splinter in our own eye. Bottom line – it is the evil in us that is willing to hurt others with shame or judgement. In a practical sense to not judge doesn’t mean we can’t discern and see things to a degree, but we don’t add on our desire to cause pain, and don’t claim what we don’t know. We realize God knows us far better than we know ourself or others, and when we do have to address the negative or discipline we do it with a desire to bring about a good result.

God gives us the ability and the liberty to restore our core self to wholeness. When the mob was ready to condemn and stone the adulterous woman Jesus said, “He who is without sin throw the first stone.” By this he shocked and awakened their conscience. And when they had all dropped their stones and gone He told the woman, “Where are your accusers?” She said, ‘they are all gone’, and he told her, ‘neither do I condemn thee, go and sin no more’. This woman could of been mired in toxic shame her whole life. Jesus has no intention to condemn anyone; He sees into our whole self and nature, and seeks to make us whole. We, in being humbled, have the opportunity to receive it and accept it, and humbly return to life restored.

Mary of Bethany seized the moment and burst into a dinner party Jesus attended with religious leaders. Mary – being on fire with love and awareness that Jesus is God – anointed Jesus’ hair with precious oil for his burial while he was alive. The important men around tried to reject and condemn her, but Jesus saw into her depths and received the whole of her. He said to the men, ‘She has never stopped kissing me since she came in, leave her be, what have you done for me?”. And He told Mary, “Because of the greatness of your love, though your sins are many, they are forgiven”. This shows that the fire of love, and awareness of truth, heals our soul and removes evil inclinations; it brings salvation. It is remarkable that Jesus sees into the whole nature of a person and shows the way to restoration. In these moments there is a bond that takes place between ourself and Him – and this is the treasure of life! He seeks for us liberty and inner peace, not the dead-end of self-condemnation and shame. We must be softened in our heart and body to be prepared to receive it. He knows when we are ready.

Hebrews 10:22: “Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.”

Feeling the energy of anger forces one to interpret its cause and in the process exposes the source of evil. This awakens in us the fighting spirit to know one self and God. Fighting for a personal relationship with God also means fighting to reawaken our capacity for affection, love, kindness, intimacy and joy.

“But how do I hide from God?” God knows everything about us, we hide from God when we don’t tell Him what’s in our heart, when we let shame shut is down, when we think we can solve everything by ourself. So ww don’t bother God, but He desires for us to take all our fears, emotions, and loves to Him. He says, “Cast all your care upon me”.

Understanding the Story and Internal Meaning of John the Baptist: Why Jesus called Him the Greatest Man Ever Born of Woman

August 2nd, 2020

Because of the great use John the Baptist performed Jesus called him ‘the greatest man ever born of woman’.

Let us look at the correspondences in John the Baptist. John represents the Word as to the the Lord, and all the particulars of his actions and appearance can be understood by the use he was providing to restore humanities connection to heaven and the Word.

When we look into the spiritual/historical purpose of John the Baptist a deep sense of God’s wisdom emerges. When pressed by the priests John identifies himself as the fulfillment of Isaiah 40:3: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God”. On an earthly level the last sentence is a reference to the roads that were built by the Romans through the rough terrain so that kings could travel in their royal chariots. These roads eventually made it possible for everyone to access new lands and connect new people and places. This is the metaphor for the purpose of John. John was the trailblazer of the way out of darkness. He was the means of transition between the old dying church, and the new Church to come.

John’s whole life seems to have been one of great focus, preparing for the brief, but profound period before Jesus began his public ministry; and he carried out his mission with great intensity. He became well known and was much talked about, long lines of people came to hear him and be baptized by him. He Baptized the people with water, and proclaimed the coming of the Messiah; and he called people to repentance. He was like an Olympic athlete that trains for decades for a great race that takes a short time to run – the was the original ‘spiritual athlete’.

John’s job was no less than to re-establish the means of conjunction between heaven and earth. This had to be done for it is a universal principle that the internal (heaven) must have a foundation (earth) upon which to rest, and the connection between them is accomplished by correspondences. The use of the Jews for correspondence had come to an end. They no longer served their purpose as the representative people, and without a church on earth that acknowledged the Lord there is no means for humanity to receive heavenly wisdom. The last sentences of the Old Testament in Malachi are:

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse”. (Malachi 4: 5,6).

To curse the earth does not mean that God chooses to do this but that the people had so separated themselves from God that they were at the end, they were about to be destroyed forever by evil because of their own choices. The same thing is said in many prophets when they say phrases like, ‘the destruction to come’, the ‘day of wrath, and vengence’. It would have been over for humanity, but God sent ‘Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day’. By Elijah here is meant John the Baptist as the Lord himself explains in the gospels. The reason He calls John Elijah is that they both represent the Word as to the Lord. Turning the heart of the fathers and children refers to the renewal of the church that John’s actions will bring about. On these points Swedenborg quotes the prophet Zeph:

“In that day there shall be the noise of a cry, that the great day of Jehovah is near, that that is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, that in the day of Jehovah’s wrath the whole land shall be devoured, and that He will make a consummation with all them that dwell in the land (Zeph. 1:7-18)”.

This means that the Jewish nation and humanity was about to be destroyed if God did not intervene. John, his actions, his preaching, his baptism, served the purpose of establishing the new means of conjunction with heaven. Because he was the agent of this change even the things he wore and ate had essential meanings by correspondences. Correspondences have to be acted out in reality, in the physical world, and John established baptism with water as the new means of correspondence. His was the external baptism that prepared the people to later receive the internal baptism of Jesus. The baptisms performed by John and the men and women that willingly received it made it possible for angels (under the guidance of the Lord) to be present with, and protect those willing to receive it. Heaven and earth are distinct from each other, but they must always be connected. As said above, earth is the foundation of heaven; and for both to exist they must be in union, which is done by correspondences.

It is perhaps astounding to hear that heaven needed people to participate in correspondences in order for the angels to have access to protecting the people from the eminent darkness. The way correspondences work between heaven and earth could be compared to an electrical current in a wire that must have a grounded node to connect to; John and his actions along with those who responded to him established the earthly node. Or it could be compared to a river that had gone dry with only water holes left in the river bed. With no water between the holes the fish could no longer move from one hole to another. John’s actions began to reconnected the holes with water. The people baptized by John were the primary beginning of the new Christian church, they were the people able to hear and receive Christ’s message.

Along with performing baptism John called the people to repent, or change their hearts, by which the people began to understand and believe that Christ was the Messiah and to have more caring hearts for others. Those that heard his message, repented, and allowed themselves to be baptized where initiated into the new church, that is, into the community of love and charity. To acknowledge who Jesus was in heart spiritually brings people into his presence and protection, whereas before they were separated by the darkness. This was joyous good news – for they were emerging from a dark nightmare. On this critical time Swedenborg writes:

“The baptism performed by John represented the cleansing of the external man; but baptism as practiced among Christians at the present time represents the cleansing of the internal man. That is why we read that John baptized with water, but the Lord baptizes with the Holy Spirit and with fire. So too John’s baptism is called a baptism of repentance. The Jews who were baptized were nothing but external men, and the external man cannot become internal without faith in Christ. It may be seen in the Acts of the Apostles (19:3-6) that those who received John’s baptism became internal men, when they accepted faith in Christ and were then baptized in the name of Jesus”. (AC 690).

In the first quote above ‘wilderness’ represents the bereft spiritual state of mankind, and John is the voice crying out to the people to reach them with new light. Since John represents the Lord as to the Divine Word his actions and the items of his wild physical appearance can be understood as a description of the way the earth connects to heaven. Crying out in the wilderness is the action of a great prophet passionately exposing the danger the people are in. John laments the state of his people toward the Word and the divine, and he appealed to the hearts of people. He did his job with fierce determination; he called the leaders ‘vipers’, and he taught the people to open their hearts to Him who was coming. These actions corresponds to the actions of angels in heaven when they perceive the tragedy of a dying church.

“To cry with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud symbolizes a supplication by angels in heaven to the Lord, because they lacked anything corresponding to them on earth. For the church on earth is to the angelic heaven like the foundation on which a house rests, or like the feet on which a person stands and which he uses to walk. When the church on earth has been destroyed, therefore, the angels lament and supplicate the Lord. Their supplication is that He may bring the church to an end and raise up a new one”. (Apocalypse Revealed 645).

John intensely enacted this supplication on earth. He kindled this passion and awareness in those who he taught. and preached to. The Bible further describes John the Baptist:

“And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judea, and all the region round about Jordan, And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?” (Mat 3: 4-7).

In general the clothing of a prophet corresponds to the external or literal sense of the Word. By food is signified spiritual nourishment from the principles of the Word. In heaven these meanings of clothing and food are realities. Because these things are heavenly truths, by correspondence, they appear in the Word. The clothes on a person in heaven exist from the love and character in the soul of that person. The food they take corresponds to knowledge and truth that nourishes their use and love. Swedenborg writes that John’s “girdle denotes a bond which gathers up and holds together interior things; that ‘leather’ denotes what is external; and thus ‘a leathern girdle’ denotes an external bond”. That John’s belt represents the bond between external and internal things, or heaven and earth, is a most profound reflection of his use, since he was re-establishing the connection between earthly life and heavenly wisdom.

Because of this great use he performed Jesus called John ‘the greatest man ever born of woman’.

Because John represented the Word as to the Lord, when Jesus Himself came on the scene (who is the living Word), John said of himself that he was “not Elias, nor the prophet,” and that he was “not worthy to loose the latchet of the Lord’s shoe”, and that ‘He must increase and I must decrease”. This is because when the real thing shows up the external expression fades away, just as a shadow goes away when the sun comes out.

Innocence Never Goes Away: The Meaning and Consequences of the Principle ‘You Are Either For Or Against Me’

June 29th, 2020

The Lord said ‘you are either for me or against me’. Our relationship with Him is reciprocal. People have to inwardly choose of their own will to make themself vulnerable and open to receiving God, and some are not willing. People know how to look good on the outside sometimes, while shut down, closed, or have ill-will on the inside. Entertaining evil, Chronic pride and denial eventually closes the internals of a person. Swedenborg says people can refuse God to the point their internals become closed, and such a person can not receive heaven.

Choosing to not accept God is at the same time actively rejecting God at some point, which is another way of saying we are ‘either for or against God’. No one can presume to be neutral to God. Acknowledging God makes him present, by denying Him we, at some point, lose the presence and protection of his angels (to the degree we reject) because reception is reciprocal, that is, God receives us to the degree we reach and open to Him from our will (for he is always turned to us). On earth people have an internal and external self and we can hide in the external. We can ‘put on a face’ with our body and do good and moral things for the sake of business and appearance, while being selfish and entertain evil inside. Remains (innocence stored in our soul) are always there, but become dormant and closed when we chronically reject God. As long as we are on earth, as I understand it, it is possible to reform, although it requires cognition to willingly submit to him, so it often becomes more difficult as we get old because of habit, fixation and loss of cognition.

Once in the spiritual world a person cannot change the basic constellation that has formed in their soul. The constellation is determined by the degree of correspondence between our internal and external self at the time of death. The more they are in harmony the more heavenly, the less in harmony the more hellish. The constellation then is like a seed from which we grow. The constellation itself can’t change anymore because we no longer have the material component of our body from which it was formed in conjunction with the soul. In the spiritual world we only have the spiritual body. The spiritual body has refined abilities that are many times greater than the physical body. If the constellation is receptive to heavenly light it grows and increases in joy for eternity. If not it is in a hell according to its types of evil loves.

In truth there is great pain in rejecting God, and this is because of the presence of remains. The remains are urging us to not be hard hearted but to receive him. Remains soften our heart so we become humbled and see and cry out to God. Those who persist in rejecting him have to keep doubling down over and over to stifle the pain from the presence of remains until the remains are silenced, and closed. But they never go away.

The Stink Smelt Around the World: Biden and the Democrats, Their Ideological Racism Revealed to the World.

May 23rd, 2020

Biden was already done, but now he is worse than done. What a pathetic politician; it’s sad to see really, but he did it to himself. Wasted all his brains with Epstein types, and with corrupt leaders like Obama. Obama is his idol. Biden forgot what it means to be a leader that serves the people if he ever knew. Obama tired to incite division in America for political gain. For Biden that’s ‘normal’ (but it’s evil). They thought they got away with murder, but they thought wrong. The Democrat people and party know Biden’s worthless, but they will keep defending the undefendable – because they have nothing. Their worst nightmare has come to be – their ideological induced, rampant racism has just bore its ugly ass for all the world to see. The people and races for the most part don’t buy the democrat definition of racism. The people have grown way past their deceptive story, but they don’t get it; they don’t see the world has passed them by. No matter how much CNN and the media try to paint lies about racism and Trump it doesn’t stick or resonate with the real people. For the most part the people in America have grown together, to accept each other and understand each other. Biden and the dems – the stink smelt around the world.

Part two. All Good Comes From the Lord: How Recognizing this is Essential to the Spiritual Circuitry of Our Soul

May 3rd, 2020

The value of being able to see and feel that all good comes from God is that it opens us to receive. Believing all good comes from God orders the spiritual circuitry in our soul to receive and give the way it’s meant to. The value of this is incalculable. The human soul is a receptacle. We do not have intrinsic life but receive life from God. It appears we have life from ourself, and it appears such so that we can truly be free, But the reality is our soul is an organ; an organ that is the highest form in the universe. Like the eye is an organ that receives light and processes it and the ear is an organ that receives sound and processes it – our soul is an organ, but a spiritual organ. Our soul, which is the whole human form is made to receive love and wisdom from God. The human soul is the highest form because we are made in the image of God. We are human because He is human, only He is the infinite divine human, and we are finite. God’s desire is for us to go through the process of bonding with Him so He can give us eternal happiness in heaven – which is the purpose for which we were made.

It is an innate human need to learn to trust, we have to learn this in spite of the hardships and pitfalls of the world. We can never be our whole self unless we can express trust. To trust it is unavoidable (and a good and beautiful thing) that we humble ourself. I believe this is so because as humans we are inherently in a position of receiving as described above. It is the innocence in our soul from childhood (knowns as ‘remains’ in the Bible) that can be incorporated into the adult self that allows us to be humbled. We can always trust the Lord. He can only be approached in humility. The Lord is our Father, our mother, our creator and when we learn to trust Him He is also our friend. He told the disciples when they learned to believe in who He is, ‘I now call you my friends’. Our relationship with the Lord is reciprocal and mutual, and this makes it profoundly intimate. It is as intimate as anything can be because He is the deepest part of our soul, and He is throughout our body. His greatest love is to save us, but we have to cooperate.

Humility is not weakness. Humility is the source of strength. It is so because humility is how we receive from God, and we receive from Him true principle and are infilled with love. This elevates perception and gives the correct motivation, which is the source of strength and other the other virtues such as perseverance, spiritual intelligence and moral character. All human beings have inclinations toward evil from head to toe. We know how easily we can do the selfish thing at the expense of our neighbor when no one is looking. We have to grow and regenerate ourself out of this condition. We cannot do it ourself – we need the Lord. Humility is not weakness. It takes strength and skill to open ourself and be honest. It is in this state of humility that we receive, and are filled. In spite of all the powers He had the Lord suffered himself to be born in this external world and humbled himself to be killed on the cross. He loves us. Humility is the opposite of what the world tells us. It is how we become our true self and because it is our true state in relation to God. It is Strength because the more we allow ourself to be led by the Lord the more we become our sovereign self from our core.

What is the alternative to not seeing that all good comes from God. Then we think it comes from ourself. We take the credit in our own mind and heart, and the flow of receiving and giving is stunted. We operate on our own prudence, which can appear to go a long way but falls apart sooner or later and in the end and does not make it to heaven. I know people who live well, are honest and do good work, but they don’t accept God. (I am writing this because of my sense of pain in observing this.) They trust in their own prudence. They can be moral but for those without the spiritual level, the moral level is empty. The spiritual motivation should the source of being moral, then they go together, and things are in good order. Without the spiritual level, what is the moral serving – it is serving oneself, or those who are close to us like our family. Even if we do good things for others and our neighbor in our work, but do not acknowledge that the good comes from God, it is good for others, but it does no good for our soul’s salvation because we think it comes from ourself. This is a lie. There is no infilling, and the flow stops, it is all stuck in self. In this state the inclinations to evil remain hidden and may be tempered but they are not removed. God works for evil to never be hidden. They cannot be removed as long as they are hidden. This is why we go through trials, ups and downs, depression and rejuvenation. We can only receive the good from God to the degree that evils are rejected and removed.

This is the problem with the philosophy of humanists, and many new agers – they think they have intrinsic life in themself. They think the good comes from man, nature or perhaps a supreme being. They do a lot of good things for each other. They may believe God is in nature, and sometimes that they are divine. But in general they do not ‘bend the knee’, that is, humble themself to the Lord in their ideas. External Christians do a similar thing. Only God can judge anyones’s true state in regard to salvation, but we can in a certain measure understand the principles at work.

It is spiritual thievery to deny that all good comes from God. We are for him or against him, there is no escaping this. To deny the truth of our being with God requires a great deal of energy, to ignore the emptiness requires a lot of distraction. We can claim ignorance but everything in life points to this truth and in the end there is no excuse. For instance, those who have been wronged often feel the desire for vengence, but eventually they realize they don’t want to carry around the hate that is killing them. The pain, hopefully, turns them toward God who is just and loves them. In truth to deny God is the worst kind of betrayal, it is the betrayal of our own soul. Deep down we know this. People get away with ignore Him, so they think they will always get away with it, but they will eventually fall. “It it is better to lose an eye, than to lose your whole soul’. It doesn’t matter how many years one gets away with on this earth, there is no hiding from the consequences in the afterlife.

When we do things with the core acknowledgement that the good comes from God then it becomes the umbrella motivation for the things we do. (This is of course a gradual, up and down process over a lifetime.) Then we don’t invest in other things like work, family, nature, relationships as the source of our salvation. These things are good in themselves, and under the umbrella of God blossom in their use; if not, the are developmental, but also serve as distractions from God. When we make God the source then ‘all these things will be added unto us’.  When we think the good comes from ourself then everything comes under the service of self, and they serve as distraction from inner emptiness. So many people look good and do good on the outside but they are not preparing themself for heaven.

Conspiracy Theorists and Leftist Media Are Trying to Sell Gloom and Doom: DOOM AND GLOOM ARE NOT THE WAY OR THE TRUTH

April 21st, 2020
DOOM AND GLOOM IS NOT THE WAY OR THE TRUTH

There are a lot of conspiracy theories that the virus was purposely caused by deep state globalists. This makes the lock down more distressing and maddening. I wouldn’t be a surprise if at least some of it were true. The style of these reports are usually alarming and alarmist. To get caught up in doom and gloom is I think a mistake. Even if they are true they are going to find out Trump and the responsible leaders in the USA are fighting back. It would be a thousand times worse if Trump were not in office – because he can be trusted. President Trump has shown over and over he is doing everything possible to keep us on the right track in order to stop the virus and to reopen America.
Even if the evil forces did get away with causing this pandemic, they are not on a free run. They got over with a good one but the back fight is going to be better for the world in the long run. God uses things like this to turn them into some good that we can’t foresee like him. Spiritually this lock down has had the effect of having people look out for others good as much as their own, and this mind set has to some degree honed people’s way of looking at each other. That is a very good thing. Usually events like this are in a particular place and we can say, “oh this is happening to others and doesn’t really effect me’, and it does not change us or hit home. But this has hit home for all of us, and caused us to see how we are all in the some boat. I think it has had a good spiritual effect in this way for the world, which is no small thing. It also has had the effect of vastating people of old habits and to reflect more deeply on our self and our lives.
It is nevertheless a very distressing situation. I have confidence that we will bounce back big and better. What have we really lost. We have lost money, our savings have gone down significantly, some people have lost jobs, some pretty severe stuff; our economy has gone down, but we can recover from this. The Government under Trump has greatly honed their ability to respond to disasters like this, and exercised the ability to rally together. Every individual has also learned. We have learned a lot about who can lead and who can’t, and every good leader has become better from this crisis. The dangers of China and letting ourselves be dependent on China, or other foreign countries, is not going to be like it was at all. We will be prepared against this kind of evil wether it is started intentionally or by accident. This I think this is the healthy outlook. Part of the work of evil forces is to convince us there is doom and gloom coming and evil is winning.
All this reminds me of what scientist say about dark energy (destructive force) eventually overwhelming dark matter (constructive force) and destroying the universe. That’s not going to happen. Because science only looks at the natural level, they think that dark energy is going to take over the universe (long in the future), but they don’t understand that there is a response and reaction from dark matter, that they can’t foresee, that fights back toward equilibrium. God is present and fights for his people. We work with him and keep the faith.

Description of the Structure of the Entire Natural and Spiritual Universe And the View It Gives of How Jesus Christ Renewed Everything In the Resurrection

April 19th, 2020

There is only one God and that is Jesus the divine human. There can be only one God by the nature of what the divine is. The divine is omnipotent and omnipresent, and there can only be One who has this power and quality. If there were two then neither would be omnipotent or omnipresent, so more than one is an impossibility. These are principles of truth not abstractions. (The slightest thought of two gods, as some have falsely held on earth, is utterly abhorrent to angels and those in heavenly light). God is in the human form; He is the perfect human from creation, always has and always will be. Before the resurrection in the Old Testament in the Bible He was known as Jehovah; after the resurrection He is known as Jesus Christ who is the same one God as Jehovah, except with a new human. God had never been in the material world of earth before. By being birthed on earth and resurrected after death Jesus Christ became the new human of God. The resurrection is the ultimate birthing. The Glorification process was the refining fire by which Jesus forged the eternal bond between his human body and divine soul.

We humans are made “in His image” meaning we are human because He is human, except He is infinite and divine and we are finite and human beings with a soul. It is a universal principle that all things created by the divine repeat the form of the divine. Because His form is repeated in everything, we are in the human form, and the human form is a universal form in the universe. In its actual shape and structure the whole of the universe is a complete human in all of its parts and organs in every minutest detail. This is known as the Grand Man, which is Jesus in His macro, and so it is true that we are in the body of Jesus. Even the animal kingdom, the plant kingdom and the mineral kingdom derive their nature from the human form, though they are (each in turn) more remote forms of it.

If one were able to see the whole of heaven you would see that it is composed of heavenly societies that compose and correspond to all the parts and organs of the human body. Each society is like a city or community, self contained and has all the functions, uses, occupations, wonders of nature as do cities, communities, or nations on earth. Each society of heaven corresponds to a specific part of the human form, like the lung, heart, skin, veins, muscles, brains, etc. The part of the human form that a society corresponds relates to the character and overall purpose of the society. For instance hearing relates to the ability to understand and obey. The heart relates to the ability to know the truth from love immediately from hearing it. The skin are those who are very dense in strictly obeying doctrine, but are a protector of the precious insides. This is true in every minutest detail of the body and its innumerable parts. God is sovereign, each society is sovereign, and each human is sovereign; and, each of these in its overall structure is in the human form. In addition, each of the innumerable parts in the human, that is in each of the sovereign entities, are connected and serve an essential function to each other and to the whole. Each angel loves serving the others in their society more than themselves, so love increases exponentially the more that enter.

The Grand man is the overall form of heaven; hell is not in the Grand man, but is its opposite; hell is in the shape of a Satanic human. (The Grand Man and Satan are enormous and complex far beyond our ability to understand, and no human can see them in their whole, but we can conceptualize them in principle.) Now to see the whole structure of the universe Imagine the infinitely beautiful Grand man standing and facing the infinitely brilliant spiritual sun, (of which God Himself is in the midst). Underneath The Grand Man, upside down to him, and facing away from the Sun is Hell in the shape of Satan, a monstrous human form. Hell is the negative opposite in every way to the grand man. For every particular society in heaven that serves good, there is an opposite society in hell that serves evil. Opposite each particular society of the highest heaven (and the function it serves), there is a society in deepest hell, that serves the hellish negative of that society, and this is the same for the middle heavens, and the middle hells, and the lower heavens, and the higher hells. There is a perfect equilibrium maintained between heaven and hell in structure, but spiritually they completely repel each other like the same poles of magnets. There is no union between them. The very atmosphere in the spiritual world is composed of ‘a quality of affection. The various qualities of love and wisdom are the spiritual substance that compose the ‘air’ in each particular societies of the spiritual world. In heaven the atmosphere is of love and in hell it is of hate. So those in hell cannot even breath or survive in the heavenly atmosphere.

It is also important to see that though they are opposite forces hell has no source of its own. Those in hell receive life from God, but they have completely inverted and corrupted that life into selfish love and hate, and they have done so by their own freedom of choice, not God’s will. The soul of each person that lives while in the natural world takes on a form that is based on the way the lived, believed and loved, and when they die this form is set and cannot change. If it is capable of heavenly light they are prepared for heaven and they grow from the form of their soul at the end of life. The form, or constellation of their soul, is like a seed from which they can then grow in happiness for eternity. If they are hellish then they grow negatively from that form.

Hell, in the human figure of Satan, is beneath, and upside down to the Grand Man. Their feet are adjacent but the Satan is facing in the opposite direction from the Grand Man (away from the spiritual sun). Those who are in hell appear to them self to be standing upright, but the position just described shows their true spiritual state, which is that their feet are up and their head down. Also, between heaven and hell is a chasm which separates them, and this is the world of spirits. The world of spirits is in the spiritual world between heaven and hell, and it is a transitional place (state) that gradually prepares each person that dies for heaven or hell. The world of spirits can be a beautiful place or a scary place. Everyone there is undergoing a gradual process of vastation that prepares them for their eternal time in heaven or in hell. Vastation means to ‘be cleansed’. This means those who can receive heaven gradually go through a process of removing that in them that is from hell. Everyone has within them a ruling love and if their ruling love is hate then they are prepared for Hell. The things in them that are of heaven are vastated for these are extraneous and not part of the core love. Those with a ruling love for heaven are vastated of extraneous loves from hell. It must be so so they can be in heaven or hell and its atmosphere without duplicity. Each person in the world of spirits is gradually gravitating to the east or west, the east being toward heaven and the west toward hell.

Life on earth is in perfect equilibrium between the forces of heaven and hell. Because heaven and hell are of the spirit they are outside time and space and can be present to people on earth and to people in the world of spirits. The whole structure of creation rests on this equilibrium for it is the fulcrum upon which human freedom exists! The end purpose of this structure is in the service of humans, (which includes the spirits in the world of spirits (former humans), and angels (former humans)). There is no other way for a person to have life and consciousness other than to be in freedom. The equilibrium between heaven and hell that provides freedom is another expression of how the human form is a universal form in the universe.  The world of spirits is somewhat like the natural world in that in it there is good and evil, but people’s abilities are much more refined there, and one’s purpose there is more refined, that is, to be vastated in preparation for heaven or hell. The world of spirits is a sort master growth processing place in which the falsities of thought and self perception are removed so that one can come into their true self. This is of course for those going to heaven. Hell is for those who have not prepared them self on earth to be able to receive this process. They refuse and reject every prompting and effort of the angels to the point they choose to be in hell, not necessarily consciously but by their actions and because their ruling love is hate. The world of spirits looks in every way very much like earth life, but the people don’t have physical bodies, but spiritual bodies, and as they gradually realize this they see that their faculties are many times greater and more astute than they were in the world.

In the resurrection when Jesus became one with God He became the innermost of all things, and what is the innermost is also the outermost. This means that his presence is immediate with everyone and all things and He became the Grand Man! In achieving the resurrection through the glorification process Jesus defied all the laws of physics. He merged his material body with the divine and made it spiritual. He raised it into the spiritual world. This can never happen, other than by the divine; and it will never happen again for what the divine does is eternal by nature. It is not so much that He defied the laws of physics but that He became the law of the universe from love. This is what it means to enter the innermost. The one who defies the undefiable laws of physics can only do so by becoming divine order; He becomes the innermost and outermost of the universe. God from the beginning is divine truth and love. What He did in being born on earth is prophesied in the Bible from beginning to end. Prophecy in the Bible is divine truth because it comes for the will of God. In being born on earth and growing to manhood Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies of the Bible thus became and upgraded divine truth.  By doing this Jesus Christ renewed all things, and now has immediate relationship and presence to everyone and everything. He exponentially increased the light available in the natural and spiritual worlds.

WHY JESUS SAID, “LEAVE JUDGMENT TO ME”: INSIGHT FROM C. S. LEWIS AND SWEDENBORG ON WHY HE SAID THIS

WHY JESUS SAID, “LEAVE JUDGMENT TO ME”: INSIGHT FROM C. S. LEWIS AND SWEDENBORG ON WHY HE SAID THIS

“There’s only one true faith; faith in the Lord our Savior Jesus Christ. It exists in believing He is God, the God of heaven and earth, that He is one with the Father. Faith is truth. And the truth is Jesus is God. Truth cannot be split or cut in half and maintain its trueness” (Swedenborg).
I believe this statement by Swedenborg is true, and it’s important to see HOW it is true here on earth.
In the spiritual world, the way we believe and love God determines more than anything where we go, even as to the particular society of heaven, (or if we go at all).
Here on earth it is the same except that in the natural world we have an external and internal self in such a way that we can hide, we can de in denial. In the spiritual world you can’t hide like here – we are our love and beliefs, and they are seen by the angels.
In hell they try desperately to hide and deceive, and they live in a fantasy that becomes an insanity, but are seen for what they are by anyone above. Those in hell cannot stand to be seen, and burn with rage, hate, jealousy and vengeance.

On earth the state of our soul is partially conditioned by our place of living, by culture, beliefs, religion and many of these can be false. But here is a very important point to remember – even if a person believes in a religious falsity but does so in good faith – God honors the internal state of love, not the falsity. If the inner love and faith is good, the falsity can later be corrected. This is a big part of why the Lord said, “Leave Judgment to me”. Man can have insight to a persons moral and physical state, but a person’s true spiritual state is only known by the Lord.

This point is made most beautifully and insightfully by C.S. Lewis in his last Narnia book, ‘The Last Battle’. In it there is a prince from the dark empire that worships Tarsheesh, which is basically a demon. The prince serves his king with honor, and fights with honor, Aslan and the Narnians are the prince’s sworn enemies. He pursues the Narnian’s and tries to defeat them. At one point near the end they run through a doorway to escape and find themselves in bright light and a beautiful paradise, and they gradually recognize they are in heaven. The Prince chases them through the door, and is bewildered that he is in light, and, being overwhelmed his sits beneath a tree. That he could see the door at all is a metaphor from the bible where Jesus tells that there is ‘a path and a gate that leads to heaven’. Jesus tells the people ‘do not stumble on this rock’. Those who stumble do so because they cant see it, but those who see it go the right way. They see it because they have spiritual perception.
In the story most of the people could not see the door, but the prince saw it and went thought it, not knowing what he was doing.
Under the tree the Prince is very confused, and then he sees Aslan coming to him. He is terrified at the magnificence of the Lion, but being a man of honor he faces him and says to Aslan, ‘kill him now’, for he sees he has been wrong all his life and he is humbled.
But Aslan tells him, “Welcome, my good and faithful son’. The prince is profoundly mortified and says, ‘But I have been your sworn enemy all my life, and I worshiped Tarsheesh”. Aslan then teaches the Prince that Tarsheesh is a demon, and that he was deceived, but that all his life he acted honorably and yearned to see the real Tarsheesh – and because his heart was true he has came face to face with Aslan.
This is spiritual Beauty.
Nevertheless, even for someone like the prince, whose heart is right but has false believes, they still can not enter heavenly light until they are taught correctly and acknowledge that Jesus the divine human, the one God of heaven. Because their heart is right and good internally the can receive the teaching of the angels.
This story is certainly not a justification for not seeking the Lord, it just shows that the Lord is perfect justice from infinite wisdom. It is a painful thing that so many people and friends can’t embrace and say they love the Lord.
The Lord and the Bible are the way given to us that provide knowledge of and conjunction with heaven, and it is best to follow these.

How Trump’s Self-Possession and Unwavering Belief in Sovereignty and The People Is Transforming the World: The Spiritual Principles at Work.

February 17th, 2020

Below is a great article about how Trump’s policies are slowly transforming the world.

https://www.dailysignal.com/2020/02/07/trumps-unorthodox-policy-wins-are-gaining-steady-support/?fbclid=IwAR0i4OwWQr4iY3dAq02QvmZYd0lhiPLtZPOrEF2JHFyq84DFuWl0D91Qrpo

I have written about the principles and specific causes of this transformation in my previous articles. If you read the article I can add to it a spiritual understanding. The essential paradox it speaks of is this: getting one’s own sovereignty right internally begins to transform things around you – which is what Trump is doing in America. Establishing one’s sovereignty seems selfish to the outside at first, but it really means getting right with God’s principles, that’s the elixir that changes things from the inside and it begins to show up on the outside. It means to do one’s own internal homework – which a lot of people don’t do – but when we do It hits on the conscience of those around (who still have some awareness) and they begin to change from the inside also.
Trump is essentially a master of self-possession and the common sense that comes from it. It doesn’t take a genius to know that trade and tariffs should be fair and equal, but it does take a person of very powerful self-possession to change a system that has drifted into an unfair ‘culture of corruption’. As Trump so truthfully and simply said, ‘the USA had become the piggybank and sucker of the whole world – and that’s not going to happen anymore’. In saying that everyone knew it was right. Trump called-out the emperor for being naked, and suddenly everyone could see the naked emperor.
The real agent of change in self-possession is that one connects themself to God by submitting to God. ‘Submitting to God’ sounds ‘oh so spiritual and hard’ but it really means focusing and concentrating on our core self and the Godly desire that inspires it, and NOT on all the extraneous parts of our self that usually have compromised survival strategies that either pander or react. The core self is directly connected to God and receives from God. God is only received in humility, and in receiving him we gain strength and creative genius. This is symbolized by the knights of old who were powerful men, but they bowed in service before the king; willing, in mind body and soul, to fight in obedience for the great cause.
All of Trump’s principles of Foreign policy demonstrate these spiritual principles perfectly in the world. As we have all seen and talked about before, as a new president
Trump immediately put ‘America first’, and he built the military up to superior strength. He boldly chided every American by saying ‘we are going to win so much you won’t be able to stand it’; and every American’s conscience was piqued for how small we were dreaming for our self. His foreign policy is simple: whoever clearly shows and persists in doing evil in the world we are going to take you out. Not countries, but merely the elements in the country. We will overwhelm the evil-doers with economic sanctions and take out the leaders who are direct threats. He can do this because he has America in a completely superior position militarily and economically. We do not try to change a countries government, or impose our ways on them, we don’t go to war, we just take out the head of the snake, and put a strangle hold on their economy. This is so profoundly effective because, as the article below shows, everyone has no choice but to see who is doing the evil and change their practices, or fall by the way side. And Trump always says, ‘I don’t know if they will change, it’s up to them, but they have no choice at some point’. It’s true, he can afford to wait it out if he has to but they cannot. Iran and Palestine are holding on hard to their evil ways but they are quickly seeing they are alone, and all their former posturing and threats become more hallow and useless. If this works on Palestine, which the article shows it is beginning to, it will be an achievement of immense proportions.
The PC world and lukewarm leaders have been able to silence America by saying, ‘You are greedy capitalists and don’t deserve to be better’. This tactic sheds-off him like water off a ducks back. Trump knows the best way to deal with Greed and self agency is on the free market and in the American Republic where greed and evil cannot readily hide, but must compete with the God given love to serve on the free market. All people, no matter where they are from, want to be free. Trump, and the true America, merely clear the way and let this Godly desire from within do the rest.
You know God is using Trump because Trump doesn’t want war and has found a way to avoid it. He dearly wants to be friends with other nations, and is making friends of nations around the world, which gives him and the world more leverage against the evil doers. God bless.
